State of the Nation : Crime Story

NO this is not a piece of the Corporate Mafia, or even a piece on corruption as a carrer path, which has been READrocking Indonesia's elite with a since of shame for some and disbelief for others.

THIS is about the super rich , walking away without even a slap on the wrist for cheating on their taxes for decades .

AND how our politicians, that rule the roost for decades, had known about it and did nothing for Malaysia .

MAT Sabu , the current minister of agriculture and food security, this week READinformed parliament that mixing of imported and local rice have been going on for decades.

LAST, I checked evading TAX is a crime, criminal in nature, yet none of our member of parliament found it urgent to demand that the income tax department get CRACKING.

WiseGuy inside The Corporate Mafia : Money Too Tight To Mention As The Ismail Sabri Crack Down Goes Full Steam.

OVER the past 31 months, Victor Chin Boon Long's wife have walked away with a cool gross intake RM120 million, thanks to the companies in which the increasingly reclusive businessmen seemingly has control off.

BASICALLY , this translates to RM3.87 million a month, every month for the past 31 months.

THE real story though is not in the easy pass Ms Chan Swee Ying seems to receive, in her equity purchase activities on Bursa Malaysia.

RATHER,  the devil is in the detail, as something is rotten seems to brewing  in the state of Denmark.

A closer look at the transaction  involving Velocity Capital Partners Bhd and Ms Chan Swee Ying reveals that VIEW : the 150 million MMAG shares sold by Ms Chan Swee Ying to Velocity Capital were actually shares pledged to Kenanga Investment Bank.

WAS this a foretelling exercise, or are there sudden financial troubles in Victor Chin Boon Long's heaven or worst still as some suspect that the VIEW : theboys of summer at Kenanga that the crack down on Ismail Sabri is too close for comfort. READ : Malaysia''s Corporate Mafia, was unstoppable during Ismail Sabri's wonder years.

WiseGuy inside The Corporate Mafia : Investigate Bursa Malaysia and the Securities Commission.

WITHOUT fear or favour, the Malaysian anti corruption agency has to launch an independent no holds barred review on the level of corruption  taking place in these two regulatory bodies.

TAKE for instance the recent shareholders vote at Revenue Group Bhd, where neither the SC nor Bursa Malaysia had thought it to be reasonsanable  to bar Teh Chee Hoe and Leong Seng Wui , the two executive directors in the company from casting their votes. VIEW: Revenue Group Bhd statement on the vote to sell Innov8tiv to Datasonic Bhd

THE duo each owning around five per cent of the company had accounted for 87.36 per cent of the YES votes to allow Revenue Group  to sell Innov8tif Solutions  to Datasonic Bhd.

THIS  87.36 per cent, represented approximately 60.701 million shares, where by approximately 68.894 million shares had been involved in the entire voting exercise .

SO if you strike off the shares owned by Teh Chee Hoe and Leong Seng , from Revenue Group's paid up Capital base of 605 million shares, you will come up with a grand total of 544.429 million shares .

BASICALLY  the 8.08 million shares not owned by  the duo, divided by 544.429 million shares,  translates to only 1.48 per cent of the minority shareholders actually participating in the voting exercise.

WHERE did the 98.5 per cent of the other shareholders go to? Can the will  of 1.48 per cent of minority  shareholders speak against the silent majority?

AS to why Teh Chee Hoe should not only have been barred from voting but also be charge in a criminal court..  just go READ :why teh chee hoe must be charged for a jailable offence

State of the Nation : We can't blame this one on the Donald Trump show.

DONALD Trump  and his deputy JD Vance, regardless of the politics in play, showed the world how bad  people, will treat the weak in their time of need.

THAT being the case, we can't use the fear that  Donald Trump will not only destroy the financial markers but may eventually via his actions push the world to a life changing war to rationalise why NestlĂ© Malaysia Bhd' profits have been set a back by 15 years.

SURE, we can latch on Johari Ghani's  Free Malaysia Today's  article intended to indirect add pressure on Anwar Ibrahim's  Prime Ministership by NAIVELY  accepting that READ :Nestle's profit plunge reflects Malaysians’ cost-of-living crisis.

OR, we can accept the truth that poking our noses into affairs  of others  is core reason why NESTLE's after tax profits  had fallen to level unseen in 15 years  to VIEW : RM41 million for the year ended Dec 31 2024.

WITHOUT  mentioning  the word boycott, NestlĂ© Malaysia tells its story in a two letter word;  CONSUMER HESITANCY.

HESITANT because of the bitter prescription melted of  a foreign led organisation  in Kuala Lumpur known as Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions grouo or better known as BDS Malaysia.

IF and when the layoffs comes knocking on the front door, now you know who is really to be blamed and shamed
