TWO of the most crucial pieces,  that could put an end to the Corporate Mafia, as well as end  the careers and pensions of crooked officers, were detained for investigation on being involved in money laundering activities.

BY right since Victor Chin Boon Long, and his minion Francis Leong Seng Wui, were being questioned under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001, there is enough provisions within Federal law frame to hold both of them, even before formal charges.

THE Prevention of Crime Act 1959 (POCA) in Malaysia is a preventive law aimed at combating organized crime, secret societies, and terrorism by allowing police to detain suspects without trial for up to 60 days.

YET  both men, were allowed to go home, one after 48 hours, while the other, Francis Leong Seng Wui, the short minion, after  14 day Hilton style stay with the loveable policemen.

TODAY, both men are in someone else land,  where Malaysian law has no jurisdiction, is not the worst part of the story.

EITHER  we believe in fairy tales, and cats with nine lives, or make a logical  assumption, in the critical days, when they were still in Malaysia,  inside information was being provided.

TEH Chee Hoe, a director  at Revenue Group had advance knowledge of the police raid at Revenue's office in search of documents related to Hong Seng Consolidated.  Those  suddenly vanished. 

AND look at Victor Chin's just in time moves, where even his exist from MMAG was timed so if cannot be charged for providing the exchange false information.

ADD the following, Revenue Group's lictriture on credit controls in submission documents to regulators and minority shareholders now look like pre meditated lies, considering Revenue Group's auditors have qualified their account.

AND the main shareholder to who is offering to take up the rights placement , has gone missing after being told,  he is a suspect in Malaysia's biggest in-house money laundering investigation.

THE  company itself has been flagged heavily on suspicious transaction reports  by Hong Leong Bank to the Central Bank multiple times since October last year.

NEWLY minted executive director the old boy  from La Salle, Klang, Kenny Khow Chuan Wah is being probed for his actions at Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd and MMAG Bhd. 

WHILE  the probe on Francis Leong Seng Wui involves his activities in five public listed companies  as well  as in the privately held Granstead Sdn Bhd.

GRANSTEAD, a Kreditkomuniti  company from Petaling Jaya is run by Lim Siew Ping,  whoes mother/aunty is a seasoned corporate player, Madam Lim Siew Eng.

BOTH Lim Siew Ping, a former director at MMAG Bhd, a former major shareholder of Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd and Francis Leong Seng Wui were previously simultaneously arrested by the Police.

THE investigations on  Teh Chee Hoe is far more damaging , involving in tampering with evidence, instructions to hide documents regarding Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd before Revenue Group office was raided as well as in organised crime.

State of the Nation : Chin Chai

CHIN Chai , is the Hokkien/TeoChew speaking people major contribution to the Tamil, Malay and English language as spoken by one Malaysian to another.

CHIN chai as an expression reflects on a carefree attitude, a paradox attitude seeded by external validation.

IN a world, where Narcissism exists on a continuum, with one in every six human being having narcissistic tendencies, Chin Chai is a very dangerous  attitude to pocess.

I for one, half though that James  Chai Jin Shern full name is James Chin Chai, and the lad was a wide eyed 20 something. I believe, have similar thoughts  about the  lads age.

AFTER a deep dive, I can safely say that James Chai Jin Shern, who currently moonlights for CNA is  in his late 30's or early 40's.

NOT old, nor young but  too old not to have the moral and ethical fiber of not  joining Arm Holdings plc.

BUT for a guy at that age group to do so, right upon quiting his job at Rafizi Ramli's Economic Ministry and then from Arm to Cambridge  University 's ERA AI is nothing short of suicidal. 

IT is not for nothing,  collectively Arm and the university , are both based in Cambridge City and are commonly referred to as the "Cambridge Phenomenon".

THE financial links between them are telling too, hence, even if the reasons why James Chai Jin Shern finds himself in the spotlight are childish, basic logic dictates, there is a basis to probe.
