THE Malaysian media, both online and printed have given Anwar Ibrahim the easiest pass it has given any sitting Prime Minister in recent memory.

TAKE for instance the Prime Minister's audicious statement READ :  31 peratus Melayu undi PH dalam PRU15.

I have of course challenged the Prime Minister's statement as highly likely not to be based on sound data. READ : if indeed PH had received 31 per cent of the Malay votes in West Malaysia, then what it means is PH had won six per cent more of the Malay votes in GE15, than the 25 per cent it won with Bersatu by its side in GE14.

THE Prime Minister had promised to reveal more details on how he had come up with the 31 per cent Malay support for PH during GE15 but to-date has been silent as a bee.

WHY is that so Mr Anwar Ibrahim? And if we can't trust you on simple statistics, can we really take the numbers that you will put out on Budget 2023, as not something which merely caught your fancy?
