Mariam Mokthar is wrong : Nepotism

Is a song from 20 year old Marilyn Mei, an American folk singer and songwriter who came to the public's attention after sharing her recordings on social media.

FIRST of all, let me say that I am a very big fan of Mariam Mokthar, especially on the insightful videos, she has put out on You Tube : they are mostly fair, balanced and logical.

THE lady hits all the right notes in her latest article, except perhaps in the last paragraphs READ : The government of Malaysia is not a family run business or a charity

Every kid wants to be famous
Every kid wants to shine bright
But the only ribbon that was given away that night
Was to the son who always won best of show

SHE is wrong though on the count that the  government of Malaysia is not a family run business or a charity

IF it is not a charity, then how come the speaker of Parliament who has been caught lying ( the details are in Mariam Mokthar's article) still have a job?

IF it is not a charity, how come we have so many unqualified people, who can't even win the seats alocated to them in GE 15, being appointed senators so that they can be made ministers.

MEET Tengku Zafrul. The guy must be so indispensable in talentless, Malaysia, that he had to be made MITI minister.
