Emir Research : Weak in The Presence of Beauty

is the 1986 song from Floy Joy,  the British band which never did find success, watching indisbelieve that a year  latter, the song ,  would be a  chart smashing  global hit for Alison Moyet,  the former lead singer of Yazoo

Often businesses  rue mis opportunities, some of which are snatched away due to market arrogance.  

And that is when,  the external PR team comes in to sway public opinion 

a whole lot of moolah. Emir Research,  has self named itself as an independent think tank. Going through its two reports on 5G and

All of my friends keep asking why

 Digital Nasional Bhd,  I have reservations on its independence,  and on the THIlNK side of things, it feels like the TANK is empty .

 In my opinion,  the Emir Research  strategy is nothing more than an ill timed PUBLIC RELATION  strategy,  after a putsch in parliment, left many not only with egg on their faces, but reputations  that caved below SUB LOW  READ :  SMACK THIS : Annuar Musa backs Tengku Zafrul, distance himself from Zahidi Zainul

Anyway ,  below is is the self named and self claimed independent think tank's report : 

🩴REPORT 1. Emir Research Demands to know Why was the spectrum not auctioned off to the private sector which would have raised revenue for the government?

My first thought by merely  the headline was to put two and two together, namely READ ; Malaysian telcos who are some of the world's largest profit, may have done so, by providing us global bottom tier service.

Truly,  a think tank for the people,  who wants the Government to pocket some extra cash while at the same time don't give a damn if the rakyat are given shit service by the telcos,  while making us pay the price of fine caviar for waste. READ :OPENSIGNAL, the global industry benchmarker tells the Malaysian people the truth : 4G speed and availability in northern states worse than Sabah and Sarawak

I particularly liked the Emir Research way of thinking that if we do the same things repeatedly,  the outcome will be different.  At least that is the impression,  i got on its suggestion to use Universal Service Provision funds, and ditch Digital Nasional Bhd.

🩴 REPORT 2 : Digital National Berhad is yet to prove providing a synergistic win-win arrangement with respect to the cost-benefit for all stakeholders direly needed by Malaysia.

Again the headline caught my eye and grabbed my imagination. Digital Nasional Bhd is less than 10 months old,  so it's obvious they will not be able to have all the solutions. 

Digital Nasional Bhd's first service to Malaysia has been a great one.  They opened our eyes,  that the rakyat should be paying far less to the telcos. For far too long, the skinny rakyat has been giving too much fat cash to the fat telcos who than are returning in excess of 90 per cent of their equally fat profits via dividend to the cash fat major shareholders.

By the way,  if we keep discussing and debating, instead of accepting that previous 4G LTE setup had resulted either direct or indirectly in a digital divide,  higher cost for the consumer,  we are undermining MALAYSIA.

The time should have been day before yesterday.  We are running out of time, as the final lap is here. Time for the batton to be passed to  Digital NASIONAL, to run this TOWN. READ ; 58 countries already have 5G
