I said it, the actor confirmed it.

BACK in January 2023,  I had warned the stock market that the EV deals being officiated by Tengku Zafrul was dodgy as hell. READ : Tengku Zafrul Roll With it, baby.

I had specifically mentioned the Artroniq deal, as a dodgy deal, structured with no real corporate meat in it, with the sole intention of pushing up the stock price.

NEVERTHELESS, Tengku Zafrul was in VIEW : full swing promoting it, only to have egg on his face, READ : after an actor admitted that he was paid to act as a CEO of a company

IN view of what has taken place, it's best for Malaysia to review all the the generous EV breaks given in Budget 2024.

Pay RM800, to Raise RM32 million: Malaysia's E vehicle sector in tatters, as paid actor makes damning allegations against Tengku Zafrul and Artroniq Berhad.

I am normally a bit long winded in my explanation but not today.

FOR the record, STARBUCKS used to contribute 90 per cent of Berjaya Food's profit, when the company was still a profitable entity.

ACCORDING, to the South China Morning Post, Vincent Tan Chee Yioun's plea for Malaysians to stop boycotting Starbucks is being mocked in the internet world

Rafidah Aziz, should be appointed as the new MCMC Chairman.

MALAYSIA badly needs an educated, competent hand at the The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, while Anwar Ibrahim badly needs a friend, who is respected, and held in  high standard by the ethnic Malay community.

BY any measurement, the current MCMC chairman,Mohamad Salim Fateh Din DOES NOT TICK IN ANY OF THOSE BOXES.

WHAT is extremely worrying is, with Mohamad Salim Fateh as the chairman of MCMC, standards have dropped to levels UNSEEN IN THE HISTORY OF THIS NATION.  READ :.Cybersecurity report ranks Malaysia as eighth most breached country. Data breach up by alarming 144 per cent in third quarter of 2023

A nobody, in Corporate Malaysia, until Najib Razak became the Prime Minister, Google is filled with literature on how, Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, a former Air Steward with the loss making Malaysia Airlines, was a major beneficiary of crony capitalism.

TO  be fair to the hugely popular ex Prime Minister Najib Razak, Mohamad Salim Fateh Din was said to be close to the very unpopular ROSMAH MANSOR, and not Najib Razak himself.

INTERESTINGLY,  MCMC under Mohamad Salim Fateh, have acted in a very strange manner READ : targeting the iconic Utusan brandname, which is hugely respected by the Malay community by targeting Utusan TV.

THANKS to Anwar Ibrahim former lawyer, Malaysia now knows READ : it was MCMC which requested Facebook to block the post of Rafidah Aziz.

MALAYSIAN  needs a Government, they can trust. Ministers who are truthful and competent. The last thing we need is an incompetent minister, telling us half truths.

Dr Mahathir's First Sin ; Vincent Tan, the Ex Billionaire Who Cried Wolf.

TUN Mahathir's first born privatization exercise on record was to gift Vincent Tan Chee Yioun READ : Sports Toto, a Government owned lotto operator, which was supposed to use proceeds from lottery tickets to fund sports and the under privileged, allegedly based on a two page proposal.

THE exercise, which took place in 1985, in a deal valued at RM28 million, saw the Government, classify the entity taking over Sports Toto, READ : B&B Enterprises, which was 70 per cent owned, by the ethnic Chinese businessmen, Vincent Tan Chee Yioun as a BUMIPUTRA entity.

VALUE Invest Asia, in a 2014 report, described Sport Toto, as the ultimate cash cow, with READ :from 1985 to 2013, at annual 184 per cent , helping nudge revenue from RM76 billion to RM3.44 billion.

INSTEAD of the bulk of the profits being ploughed into  helping the less fortunate and heavily investing into domestic sporting  development, the numbers forecaster which was experiencing a 412 per cent annual growth in profit, ended paying 75 per cent of profitd back to its shareholders via dividend payment

BY 2012, Vincent Tan had retired from Corporate Malaysia, and ventured into Europe's football scene in the ensuring years by acquiring football clubs in the United Kingdom, Sarajevo and in Belgium.

THOSE bets in Europe, proved costly to Vincent Tan, as in less than 11 years, he had lost more than US$600 million of his fortune. READ : Forbes now estimates Vincent Tan Chee Yioun to be worth US$695 million.

TUN Mahathir's, re-emergence as Prime Minister in 2020 seem to be God send for Vincent Tan Chee Yioun on a personal level, while on the business front, it seemed ripe for another run on corporate Malaysia.

VINCENT Tan Chee Yioun's son's READ ; fortunate escape from drug related charges some time in 2020,  is common knowledge here, but  what IS NOT WIDELY KNOWN IS DURING THAT SAME  TIME LINE ,  Donald Trump's, Department of Justice  was heavily investigating a company, in which the SAME son , and a daughter of the tycoon were directors.

AT around, the same time, Vincent Tan Chee Yioun and his son in law , one of the controlling stakeholders of the Naza Group, had submitted a RM300 million plan to take over the expiring contract of SPANCO to provide and service Government vehicles.

LUCKILY, for the Bumiputra community, Malaysia's nineth Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri did not allow history to repeat itself, by cancelling the Letter of Intent given to Vincent Tan Chee Yioun's Berjaya Group and Naza Group joint venture.

IF in 1985, Vincent Tan Chee Yioun's takeover entity of Sports Toto, was given a sweet deal on THE PRETEXT it was a BUMIPUTRA entity by the Mahathir Administration, the 2020/2022 , fleet management concession by the Mahathir administration would have caused as many as 300 Bumiputra owned SPANCO service providers, immediately shutting down.

NEXT ; Money Talks, Bullshit Walks.

ONE small victory for BERSATU President Muhyiddin Yassin, the self proclaimed Abah of the nation, is a giant leap in confidence and credibility for Azam Baki's MACC.

MUHYIDDIN  Yassin , had always maintained that he had no role to play READ : in awarding a contract estimated to be in range of RM1 billion to Spanco.

HOWEVER, the former Prime Minister's claim that he is a target of a political witch hunt, now sounds hollow, as the MACC is prepared to stand it's ground and clear Muhyiddin Yassin's name.

THE soon to be completed investigation will be a major boost to the morale of Azam Baki and his MACC team, who had to face suspicion and scrutiny on allegations  READ : that the MACC had been enlisted to persecute political opponents of PM.

THE biggest winner of the day, is the Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who had maintained from day one, READ : the MACC is free to investigate anybody, including politicians.

CURRENT, MITI minister Tengku Zafrul will also be cleared, while tycoon 85 year old tycoon Robert Tan Hua Choon, who owns SPANCO, supposedly the villan in this scheme of things, will come out smelling like a bed of roses.

SO who gave the billion Ringgit contract, that could net a profit of RM400 million over a  15 years for SPANCO?

WELL look no further, then the ninth Prime Minister of Malaysia, Ismail Sabri, who already has a READ : RM200 million communication contract to answer for.

Paddy Farmers Voice Muted @ The Bumiputra Economic Congress.

FOR months, we were told that the paddy sector was of national importance to our nation's security and well being.

ONE would have thought, considering  that READ : 95 per cent of paddy farmers are Bumiputras, the farmers plight would have been top of the agenda, alongside, how the farming community can have better access to banking facilities, modern technology and help in know how on how to upscale as well as to expand into other rice related sectors.

INSTEAD, what the Congress was bored with were some figures from Wahid Omar, the non executive chairman of Bursa Malaysia who played in key role the  READ : Retirement Fund Incorporated (KWAP) investment panel that approved the RM4 billion loan to SRC International.

WAHID had the following to say at the Congress. READ : Only one out of 97 listed companies owned by Bumiputera

AT least all those 97 companies listed on the stock exchange over the past three years are paying their Malaysian workforce much more than the required RM1,500 in minimum wage.

CAN, we say the same about the paddy farmers, in the sector in which Syed Mokthar Al Bukhary's Padi Beras Nasional Bhd, has had an iron clad monopoly for decades now?

I am afraid, we cannot, as according  to the READ : 2022 AG's Report: Almost a quarter rice farmers earning below RM600 monthly

NOTHING good will come out from  making a few super rich, while the rest of our breathen, such as those the paddy farming sector, earn almost RM1,000 less than a Bangladeshi foreign WORKER.
