Rise of the Pak Pandir's : Ain't No Stoppin US

was a top ten hit in the UK  back in 2000 for the garage band  DJ Luck & MC  Neat.

For those who are unfamiliar,  PAK PANDIR is a popular character in Malay folklore who is depicted as simpleminded and naivle.

You can try to lock us up,
But we break down the door,
People jumping up and down,
So they can reach through the floor
Aint no stoppin us
No-one does it better

Take for instance, EPF 1OK drama.  Why on earth,  tell the world that we will have to liquidate our assets (mostly stocks) overseas,  and then make an announcement on the one off 10k withdrawal,  before selling off those asset?.

With regards to EPF,  last year they did the same thing.  Remember :  READ : Apakah Ada Watak Pak Pandir Sebagai Fund Manager Di KWSP?

These and other  type of naivety  runs deep in corporate Malaysia,  especially concerning Government Linked Companies.

Look no further  than how Bursa Malaysia Bhd compensates its CEO ,  Muhd Umar Swift.

This is what Simply Wall St,  who has 4 million registered users had to say READ :  Muhamad Swift's compensation has increased by more than 20% whilst company earnings have fallen more than 20% in the past year.
