Warning Klaxon On Malaysia's planned RM3 billion housing scheme for the B40 & B20 : Pie in The Sky

is a recording from one of the greatest American folk singer of all time, the severely underrated Cisco Houston who died in 1961.

What's wrong and what's rightBut when asked how about something to eatThey will answer in voices so sweet:
You will eat, bye and byeIn that glorious land above the skyWork and pray, live on hayYou'll get pie in the sky when you die.

TAKE for instance the RM3 billion allocated for the Housing Credit Guarantee Scheme (HCGC) to help GIG workers and those without a pay slip to own a  home under RM400,000. VIEW : The Housing scheme in question.

THREE Billion is a lot of money so let's get cracking. Assuming  bachelor X takes a RM300,000 over over 30 years at an  average interest rate of six percent, the B40 X will need to pay  monthly repayment  RM1,798 and at the end of the loan period, X would have paid a total of RM647,514.

HOW many SANE people expect B40 X will be able to pay above the minimum wage and more than 100 per cent the actual home price?
