Figures,  and statistics  when it comes to  5G in  Malaysia, will determine if  the Camel called Rakyat or a  Camel Called Telco dan rakan rakan will end up with a sore back. 

PKR's member of  Parliment Fahmi Fadzil  makes a last ditch attempt  to sway public  opinion by using the dividend card in this Free Malaysia Today report.

  READ : Many of these network operators are 25-60% owned by the Malaysian public. This includes EPF, PNB and many other entities.“If there is a depreciation in all the investments made (by operators), how will it affect the dividends received by them?”

The story is a sad one, told many times

Yup,  the story has been told a zillion times,  all over the world,  where the people's  representatives,  lose focus and become influencers for billion ringgit companies.

And here we thought Fahmi Fadzil  and PKR was all in for prudent spending and not creative spending and creative dividend payments.

Based on the Free Malaysia Today story,  I will tell you things,  Fahmi Fadzil  is supposed to tell the Rakyat but did not,  for reason best known only to himself. 

READ : The Telco's are paying ridiculously high dividends instead of paring down their debts.

VIEW AND ANALYSE :

1️⃣  Maxis only retains SIX per cent of its earnings, while the balance 94 pet cent of the money is given to shareholders

2️⃣ Digi which is more than 50 per cent owned by foreigners and less than eight per cent by the Malaysian retailers pays out 100 per cent of its earnings as dividend.

Not so great when you consider, take for example,   Digi,  which  has about RM500 odd million in cash, while it's short term debt and long term debt combined  is RM6 billion .

 Is the type of dividend,  Fahmi Fadzil wants to promote,  defend and maintain ?  

Maxis Net Debt Equity is 108 per cent,  while Digi's net debt to equity ratio is 306 per cent.

So how do you think these Joe's are going to pay for a spectrum rights in an open tender and find another RM10 billion to RM20 billion extra  to build an exclusive  5G super highway of their own.

 🟥 Do you think they will do it by giving us a guarantee that they will match  Digital Nasional Bhd's 5G ratesvwhich is 50 per cent lower than what the telcos are charging us now?

 🟦 Do you think they  will do it by giving priority to rural Malaysia ?  REMEMBER  ELECTED MEMBERS OF PARLIMENT  EDUCATION IS THE BEST WAY TO OVERCOME POVERTY AND ACHIEVE  ECONOMIC PARITY.

⬛ Or most likely  give us the same shit like what they have been giving us for the past 20 years, and charge us steep rates.? 

The Telco's  many representatives  in Parliament  should anwser ...
