Ringgit 4.19, Unarmed & Vulnerable

To what's taking place OUTSIDE of Malaysia.

Namely, the state of the global oil price, which could get worst latter tonight, when the American Petroleum Institute data is CONFIRMED by the US Govt.

Crude oil hit one-month lows, as The American Petroleum Institute (API) reported U.S. crude stocks rose by 9.3 million barrels in the last week.

Analysts had forecast that U.S. crude stocks had increased by more than 1 million barrels last week after unseasonal declines in seven of the past eight weeks also weighed on crude.

The API report came ahead of official government data on Wednesday.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures settled down 19 cents, or 0.4 percent, at $46.67 a barrel, after a near-4 percent drop on Monday. They were lower after the settle following the API release.

Brent January crude futures were down 64 cents, or 1.3 percent, at $47.97 a barrel by 4:50 p.m. ET (2050 GMT). They fell by nearly 3 percent the day before in their biggest one-day drop since Sept. 23.

Asian Stocks Brace for Losses on Election Angst Amid Strong Yen

Kiwi climbs after jobs data damps outlook for more rate cuts

Asian stocks were poised to track a retreat in the U.S., with shares in Australia and New Zealand falling amid mounting anxiety ahead of next week’s presidential election. The yen maintained gains with the Swiss franc and gold, while oil extended its slide.

Futures on equity gauges from Japan to Hong Kong signaled losses after a tick-up in risk aversion sent the S&P 500 Index to its lowest point since July. The yen was near a one-week high following the steepest surge in more than two months for the franc, while gold traded close to its highest price since the start of October. Australian government debt advanced. U.S. crude fell a fourth day, ahead of an update on American stockpiles. New Zealand’s dollar rose after strong jobs data damped prospects of further interest-rate cuts there.

Bitcoin 52 Week High,

Thanks to the US$276 billion outflow from China.

Apparently, the digital currency is on fire in the middle kingdom.

Most of the capital outflows from CHINA are attributed to two factors: one, where the exporters from the mainland are keeping their money in offshore, and the other where people are buying Bitcoin to prevent their assets from depreciating with yuan; and also for cross-border investments and transactions.

The cryptocurrency which was priced at around $640 in mid-October has surged past the $700 mark and now stands at $725, after falling to $690 briefly over the weekend.

At the current pace, the price of Bitcoin reaching $800 is imminent.

Teck Guan Perdana, Break Out Or Break Down

We shall soon know. The stock is sitting pretty at RM2.24, it's highest perch in 52 weeks.

The stock has broken both of KN Kenanga's upward resistance band. Kenanga's first resistance was at RM2.10 while the second resistance was set at RM2.21.

Still trading at a single digit PE, Tech Guan, the stock which Bursa Malaysia had slapped with a ZERO sen limit up gain recently is now at a CRITICAL stage.

It's either a break out to RM3 a share or a complete BREAKDOWN.

Trump Leads, S&P 500 Support Line Breached

which means volatility is back in the market.

The CBOE Volatility Index (.VIX), considered the best gauge of fear in the market, has climbed more than 40 percent over the last six days, while the S&P 500 has lost less than 2 percent in that time.

That indicates more volatility could come, with the S&P 500 falling below the 1,120 point support line, capping six straight days of losses, as Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton in the latest ABC poll.
