Here we go, Malaysia 2025!.

THE lesson learned from Manchester United's sacking of Erik Ten Hag is that the grass always looks to be greener in the other side of town.

HIS replacement, Ruben Amorim performance has been worst then the Dutchman, which must come as a relieve for Liverpool, who had opted in the last minute not to welcome Amorim as the replacement for Jurgen Klopp.

WHAT  should Malaysians learn from the unfolding melodrama taking place at Old Trafford?

FOR starters, be careful what you wish for, followed by be greatfull for what you have, as a bird in hand is worth a million more than those on the fence.

TAKE Anwar Ibrahim  for instance, who has READ : cut subsidies for the ultra rich and created enough soundbites to fire up the economy.

THE Prime Minister managed those feat,  by going against the prevailing opinion among economist that Malaysia needed to raise lending rates if it wanted to breath easy .

YET here we go on the first day of January 2025,  with friends of the unity Government worried sick READ : that a January sixth gathering for Najib Razak, might lead to something more sinister.

THERE are those who are using Najib Razak's name to actually  jeopardise the former Prime Minister's quest for freedom, hoping a knee jerk reaction could trigger a change in Prime Minister's.

IT'S  neither Zahid Hamidi's intention nor UMNO's intention to push for such a change but men like Akmal Saleh whoes loyalty to the Unity Government is suspect are having a field day sowing the seeds of mistrust.

THE CONSEQUENCES for Malaysia will be from progress albeit at turtlish pace, into the sizzling hot frying pan of REGRESS.
