WHAT this means in the most simplistic terms is the Malaysian dispora, being rich  have not gone abroad and remain abroad for economic reasons.

WHILE many will point to the New Economic policy as the main reason.  This type of thinking is actually flawed, as the NEP did the job it was intended to do, mainly creating a strong middle class Malay population.

MOSTLY,  many are staying away because instead of going into the next step in creating an equally even Malaysia,. Ismail Sabri is still stuck in the 1970's.
