State of the Nation : RICE wars and more...

ANWAR Ibrahim, the man who fulfilled his goal to lead Malaysia, after waiting for more than two decades, has surprisingly over come with ease the Najib Razak addendum issue, and Tengku Razaleigh's call for him to resign.

NO longer a  member of Parliament, the former finance minister's call, lacks sting and venom.

THE clearest indication that the Prime Minister has the upper hand, in my opinion can be seen in the move  to restart the momentum to free the paddy farmers from the yoke of Bernas.

IF you recall, as early as January 5th, I had highlighted READ : that the rice war has been restarted again.

THE other ominet sign that the Prime Minister has over comed a difficult December , can be seen via READ ;Malaysia reengaging the EU after a 12 years hiatus to work towards a free trade agreement.

ONE of the reason a free trade agreement with the EU has stalled for 12 years is because of the approved permit for automobile sector in Malaysia.
