KPMG. Nobody Told Me

Was the Beatles' lead singer John Lennon's last top ten hit on both sides of the Atlantic some four years after he was shot dead in 1980

Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Strange days indeed -- strange days indeed.

THESE are strange days indeed. On July, KPMG said READ : Will Vigorously Defend It's Honour. Two months latter, what do we have

Shopee. Bully

is the lead single from rockers Shinedown's  fourth studio album Amaryllis.  The song peaked at number three on the alternative rock chart in the USA  some 4 years ago.

Whenever I see black and blue I feel the past, I share the bruise
With everyone who’s come and gone
My head is clear my voice is strong, now I’m right here to right the wrong
We don’t have to take this back against the wall
We don’t have to take this we can end it all

We all should stand up to bullies. Now that all out MP's are friends, can they please HELP protect Malaysian businesses which is being bullied by the China owned Shopee .

They are able to do that because our Government is lax.  Malaysia should seriesly look at India's Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, to stop this bullying and also to bring in some much needed tax money into our coffers.

Essentially,  the act prevents e market place providers such as Shopee  from forcing vendors to sell their goods exclusively  via a single platform.

Currently, Shopee has been trying to curtail some of our merchants from selling their goods on rival sites. Basically, we are allowing a foreign company to dictate where our merchants can sell their goods.
Shoppe  can do this because thus far because the MITI minister is sleeping on the job.  In India, foreign products can’t be sold online unless the firm whose product is being sold is registered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

Malaysia should  do the same. Can Azmin Ali stand up for Malaysia,  in the way Hamzah Zainuddin  as Home Minister has repeatedly  stood up for Malaysia?

The Story of Serba Dinamik is being told : Who can it be now ?

reached number one on the US Top 40  charts in 1982,  as the Men At Work's  Business As Usual album spurned hit after hit,  that eventually led to a Best New Artist award at the Grammys.

So who can it be ?

The buyer of the 500 million Serba Dinamik shares on June 1? According to Sarawak Kini the buyer could be READ ; Khazanah and Petros, Sarawak state government oil could possibly be the buyer of the shares

But if you ask me, I believe that if the buyer is interested solely in  the oil and gas assets of Serba Dinamik,  then  for sure the buyer must have its roots in Sarawak.

Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be knocking at my door?
Make no sound, tip-toe across the floor
If he hears, he'll knock all day

Hamzah Zainuddin : The Fighter.

is a song from the rap rock group Gym Class Heroes, taken from their fifth  studio album Papercut Chronicles.  The song features vocals from Ryan Ted,  the front man of One Republic.

In Hamzah Zainuddin, Malaysia has a Home Minister who is nothing short of a FIGHTER.

There goes a fighter
There goes a fighter
Here comes a fighter
That's what they'll say to me, say to me
Say to me, this one's a fighter
'Til the referee rings the bell
'Til both ya eyes start to swell
'Til the crowd goes home

YES,  the home minister can do with some good PR, that is for sure,  but as brash as he is, I do believe that he speaks for the silent majority who must be alarmed with READ ; Court rules children born overseas to Malaysian moms also eligible for citizenship

I believe  that the Home Minister understands that even the majority  of us are not against these children....what we fear are their FATHERS.

What we don't  want is some terror or child bonking weirdo to become our neighbour just because he fathered a child with a Malaysian mother .

Our Home Minister is brash but he is a winner and has Malaysia's interest at heart.

It may not have been diplomatic,  but the Home Minister  did no wrong when he put the United Nations in place READ ;  Hamzah to UNHCR: Where is your sincerity?

The Minister also put his foot down despite some very powerful voices lobbying for changes to the MM2H  READ : Deposit RM1 juta bagi MM2H untuk jamin keselamatan negara - Hamzah

So to those hiding behind the children born to Malaysian moms, do ENLIGHTEN us on what happens to their FATHERS? Will they be allowed to roam Malaysia freely too?

Tony Pua : Soldier of Fortune.

is a song from the heavy metal group Deep Purple.

Tony Pua better watch it or he is going to get tagged as nothing more than a soldier of fortune, one who is always there when there are cameras clicking but is no where to be seen when  the lights go out.

Like the sound
Of a windmill going round
Guess I'll always be a soldier of fortune
I can hear the sound
Of a windmill going round
Guess I'll always be a soldier of fortune
I guess I'll always be
A soldier of fortune

The Story of Serba Dinamik Is Being Told : Part 2 Shock the Monkey : Bananas in Pajamas

Is a childrens rhyme  made popular by the Australian children television series that debuted in 1992.

Bananas in pajamas are coming down the stairs,
Bananas in pajamas are coming down in pairs,
Bananas in pajamas are chasing teddy bears,

Basically EPF was treating  the retail investor as a bunch of "Bananas in Pajamas" that ended up spooking them out from Serba Dinamik.

Why else would EPF state that READ : Bimbang perkembangan terkini Serba Dinamik  and only then cease to be a substantial  shareholder of Serba Dinamik?

Mind you before that EPF was happily  selling Serba Dinamik shares without expressing any concern.

And once the EPF had ceased becoming a substantial shareholder according to the shareholding structure provided by Focus Malaysia, EPF still kept a sizeable amount of Serba Dinamik shares READ : Focus Malaysia : Employees Provident Fund (4.97%), the Retirement Fund (Inc) (4.53%) in Serba Dinamik

Was EPF trying to make monkeys of the retail investor or perhaps EPF itself have second thoughts about KPMG's claim and with that the audit firm’s credibility?
Whatever the reasons,  the EPF should realise this that when they put their minds to it, the MONKEYS always WINREAD : Any Monkey Can Beat The Market

Man in the Mirror. She will be free...

is a Texas country band who became famous for a single that never charted but its powerfull lyrics  about forced prositution and abuse overtime won over the world.

And she will be free,
Like the leaves floating in the wind, and the stream.
She will not be bound, by anything that tries to drag her down.
Oh, and all that girl wants to be is loved.
And her heart is a river in my blood.
