Only in Malaysia are the native B40 people are subsidising the M40 and T20 to the tune of RM2.35 billion a year .

THE mostly B40 Malay populace have been for decades carrying a RM2.35 billion a year burden for the rest of us.

THE  Government feels this burden is too light, so they are working over time and scratching their balls off on how to  increase it  to about RM3.36 billion a year.

LUCKY for the B4O rural Malays, that the current Prime Minister is Anwar Ibrahim and not Ismail Sabri or Muhyiddin Yassin because if it were, then they would be as good as yesterday's  toast.

S0 what am I mumbling about? Well it's all about paddy. READ :  Malaysia needs 100 per cent rice sufficiency.

WANTING to have 100 per cent rice self sufficiency is not a sin, but wanting to achieve the said  sufficiency level while forcing local paddy farmers to sell their output way below market price, should be made into a crime against humanity.

CURRENTLY , Malaysia's monthly consumption is about 200,000 tonnes a month, of which the Malaysian farmer selling the same quality of rice  as their foreign counterpart, are forced to sell at  discount of RM1400 per tonne, price wise as opposed to what imported rice of the same quality would fetch .

YOU can call it subsidy or you can even call it a loss cost opportunity  or call it in any other name. The point is why can't we allow our farmers to sell at the same rates.

THE situation now is plain and simple , we are basically stopping between RM2 billion and RM3 billion from reaching the farmers pockets, and then we have the audacity to wonder why they are still poor or why some of them don't like us.
