HIS first attempt as Prime Minister cum Finance Minister had seen some stop gap measures to help paddy farmers such as READ : 30 per cent of Bernas profit will be given directly to paddy farmers.
NOW anyone who is managing his own business or even managing a large company, can tell you this much a profit or loss is a mere accounting entry which the ownership of a company often will use to their advantage.
HARAP kali ini, menteri kewangan berhenti berfikir dengan lutut and provide direct Approved Permits taken from Bernas Bhd's Approved Permit quota to Paddy Farmers Co operatives run directly by the paddy farmers themselves, preferably to those who have their roots in UMNO or PKR.
AS important as the first act is the Government should no longer provide farmers aide, fertilizers and so on via Bernas but should do it by themselves or via those who have their roots in UMNO or PKR.
WHY not give it like how it is given now via Bernas. To answer that question, we should ask ourselves who is the owner of Bernas.
THE owner of Bernas is Syed Mokthar Al Bukhary. Is this Syed Mokthar Al Bukhary an active member of UMNO or PKR? Hell NO, he is actually READ : the single largest funder of Bersatu with RM195 million given to the political party.
HAS Syed Mokthar Al Bukhary ever asked back for the money or has he ever volunteered to act as a Government witness against Bersatu for gaining so much from one men? Hell NO.
SO why is the Government then stupidly allowing him to distribute tax payers money in the form of paddy incentives, fertilizers and know how using his company. READ : The amount of Assistance the Government is giving paddy farmers via Bersatu's single largest or biggest funder
DO note, that apart from Petronas in Terengganu, Syed Mokthar is the biggest employer in the state, and he is also the biggest lifeline provider to paddy farmers in Kedah using Federal Government money that is distributed via his private company , Bernas Bhd.
IT is no coincidence that in both these states, the Unity Government candidates lost their underpants.
