Tek Seng. Leave Your Lover

Is the 2014 monster hit for Sam Smith. If you own Tek Seng shares, then it's probably time for you to Leave Your Lover .

This year, Tek Seng was traded as high as RM1.40, but since then it has fallen to 68.5 Sen, but looks like it will fall much more in 2017.

Bloomberg has the story. Read below :

Solar manufacturers led by China’s Trina Solar Ltd. are probably selling at a loss after prices fell to a record low this week.

The global spot market price for solar panels fell 2.4 percent to an average of 36 cents a watt on Dec. 28, according to PVinsights.

That’s the bottom end of the cost range for most producers in the third quarter, according to Jeffrey Osborne, an analyst at Cowen & Co. Suppliers are expanding capacity this year while demand is expectedto slow in 2017, helping to push prices down.

Bursa Malaysia. Sun Goes Down

Is a massive 2015 hit for Robin Schulz and Jasmine Thompson, taken from the album prayer.

The Malaysian stock market needs more than a PRAYER, after its key KLCI index closes in the red for the THIRD year running.

The SUN Goes Down on the KLCI for 2016 with a three per cent loss while the Ringgit ends at 4.486 against the dollar, for its poorest close since 1998.

The poor KLCI performance is against a backdrop of the MSCI All Country World Index, closing up by 5.7 per cent for its strongest close since 2013.

KFM Bhd. Volume Boh Liao. Same Old Love

Is a 2015 hit for Selena Gomez from her second album called revival.

KFM shares are now half Sen up to 18 Sen a share, but those holding KFM will be hoping for a Revival when it comes to the volume department.

Thus far, only 44 shares have been traded. It's still early hours in today's trading day, but if volume remains poor, than expect the same old love, that once haunted the likes of Iris Corp, Tanah Emas, Farm's Best to play out in KFM too.

Najib Razak. The Good, The Bad & The Crazy

Is a 2015 monster hit for Imany. A song which best describes,  the predictment of the Prime Minister.

Malaysians are stuck with the bad and crazy, and that alone should be driving Najib Razak bonkers.

The bad is obviously 1MDB, as for the crazy, you can have your pick , from, so called having the wanted Jho low as our defacto deputy prime minister, and assassinating Xavier Justo when he walked out of a Thai prison.

None of the above happened, but so what, Malaysians already don't care, to the extend they don't give two hoots about the good.

So what is the good, well Najib Razak has done what no Malaysian prime minister has been able to do .

Najib Razak has managed to bring down the budget deficit from six per cent of the GDP in 2009 to three per cent of GDP currently, and cut Malaysia's reliance on oil and gas sector to 15 per cent of the economy from 30 per cent previously.

In between, he has also liberalised the service sector , allowing 70 per cent foreign participation and brought in about RM100 billion worth of economic spin offs in December alone.

So there you have it, the good, the bad and the crazy of Malaysia's one and only Najib Razak.

KFM Bhd. MOU. Be Good JOHN ny

Is a 1982 hit for Men At Work, taken from their blockbuster debut album entitled Business As Usual.

It might not be Business As Usual for the KFM bull, after the company told the stock exchange that the mou with Lotus Esential Sdn Bhd is non BINDING, and that Lotus which made a net profit of LESS than 1.8 per cent or about RM429,000 is majority owned by Wong Sak Kuan.

Wong Sak Kuan owns Sing Foong Niap Sdn Bhd, which used to do a lot of work for Mudajaya, and Lotus Essential is the trading arm of the Sing Foong Niap group.

Turns out, that Wong is also an associate of MCA's Wee Ka Siong, so BE GOOD JOHN NY, we won't want history to repeat itself .

Ringgit 4.17 . Bernama. Lose Your Self

Is the 2002 hit for Eminem taken from the album 8 mile.

Folks it looks like Bernama, which told Malaysia back in November to relax, because the Ringgit will be trading at RM4.20 to the US Dollar by Jan 2017 has done what the finance minister and Bank Negara could not do, it has single handedly brought down the Ringgit to RM4.17 versus the US Dollar.

Looks like the Bernama Business desk people might still be INTOXICATED from their Christmas party, because according to Bloomberg, the Ringgit trades at 4.4852, a fresh 19 YEAR high.

Bernama, please go lose yourself, or maybe have a bit more beer to get sober, because your report below is Stupid. Read on :

Publish date: Thu, 29 Dec 2016, 11:31 AM

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar today as the United States yields reached a two-week low on overnight decline amid better demand for the local note, said dealers.

At 9.08 am, the ringgit was quoted at 4.1785/1835 against the greenback from 4.1860/1900 on Wednesday.

A dealer said the weaker-than-anticipated pending home sales data and an encouraging debt auction caused Treasury yields to deteriorate.

Meanwhile on the local front, there was renewed optimism as forex traders would want to end the year on a higher note, he said.

Oil & Gas. Beautiful Now

Is a 2015 hit for Zedd feautring Jon Bellion, taken from the album true colours.

Oil and gas stocks look beautiful now, with the likes of Sumatec, Reach Energy Warrants, Hibiscus, KNM and Perisai dominating the top ten most actively traded stocks today on the stock exchange.

The other similarities, between these equities are that they are all penny stocks, that are trading below 40 sen.

Could this be the start of a penny stock oil rally on Bursa Malaysia in 2017, or will the sectors true colours, such as rising bankruptcies, delinquent loan repayments, put an end to the oil bulls run.

We shall find out soon enough. Won't we ....

Airasia. Tata. Can You Get Away

Is a hit for rapper Tupac Shakur, taken from the album me against the world .

The question here is AirAsia, can you get away from the corporate battle taking place in India'sTata Group between Ratan Tata and Cyrus Mistry  .

The press trust of India, has the story. Read below :

Enforcement Directorate (ED) has questioned AirAsia India's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Mumbai in connection with an alleged Forex violation case.

ED is probing ousted Tata Group Chairman Cyrus Mistry's allegation that fraudulent transactions of Rs 22 crore, involving non-existent entities in India and Singapore, were carried out in an instance involving the airlines.

Officials said the CFO, Ankur Khanna, was questioned by the investigating officer of the case earlier in the week and his statement was recorded under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

There was no immediate comment from AirAsia India spokesperson.

Bank Negara. Loca People (What The Fuck)

Is a 2011, UK number one hit single by Spanish DJ Sak Noel.

One day, after petting it's own back by claiming that it has curtailed the distruptive elements in the NDF market, the Ringgit has just sink to a fresh 19 year low against the US Dollar.

One US Dollar now fetches 4.4840 Ringgit, there fore all the loca people, has earned the right to ask Bank Negara Malaysia, What The FUCK!!!

Singapore. Oil & Gas Default. 2017. Back To Life

Is the 1989 hit for British R&B group Soul 2 Soul.

Well according to Bloomberg, defaults from Singapore's oil and gas sectors are going to come back to life in a big way in 2017.

Bloomberg has the story. Read Below :

Singapore’s commodities-related defaults could turn out to be the canary in the mine.

Despite a modest rebound in resource prices, restructuring specialists including KPMG and Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee see more Asia-Pacific commodities and shipping companies being pushed into delinquency. Law firm DLA Piper said there could be choppy waters ahead on rising interest rates and President-elect Donald Trump’s overhaul of trade with China.

Regional non-bank borrowers face US$76.4bil of dollar bonds maturing in 2017, 24% more than this year, Bloomberg-compiled data show.

While oil prices have jumped 17% since Trump was elected, they are about half what they were in 2014. Resource prices as a whole are down 64% from their peak before the 2008 global financial crisis, the Bloomberg Commodity Index shows.

Singapore, whose economy relies on shipping and oil service firms, was exposed first because the companies were smaller and less able to tap government support.

“Singapore is a bellwether for the larger Asean and Asian region,” said Andy Ferris, Singapore-based partner at Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee. “

Shieks Versus Shale. Sultans Of Swing

Is the 1979 hit for Dire Straits, taken from their debut album of the same name.

Analysts are betting that oil price should average between US$55 and US$60 a barrel in 2017, so if you are expecting an oil stock rally to last, you might just end up in dire straits.

Two reasons why this oil rally might not last are, OPEC members, who are past masters of the sultan of swing, might not keep their word on the production output quota, and also because shale oil operators are poised to ramp up production at current levels .

Baker Hughes which reported the latest rig count in the USA on December 23, had noted that over the past 25 weeks, the number of oil rigs working in the USA, has risen 23 times, suggesting a SHEIKH'S versus SHALE fight is for REAL.

Sprott Asset Management sees crude averaging at US$60 a barrel, while Barclays Bank sees the commodity averaging at US$56, and Citigroup Is betting that crude should average at US$55 a barrel next year.

Ringgit Malaysia. US$9 billion a month versus US$13 billion a day. Give It To Me

Is the 2007 monster hit from rapper Timbaland and Nelly Furtado.

Give it to me, the facts and figures Bank Negara Malaysia, on your self praise that you have managed to curtail the NDF Ringgit trades.

Bank Negara Malaysia said yesterday that turnover for onshore Ringgit trades improved to US$9 billion a month from US$8 billion a month.

What Bank Negara Did not tell you and me is that the daily turnover of the Ringgit NDF trades is about US$13 billion a DAY.

Neither did Bank Negara say, how its going to make the onshore market attractive enough for the NDF traders to switch over, if not it will become just like Bursa Malaysia, with very low foreign participation, creating a market with very little VALUE.

KFM Bhd. The Wild Boys

Is the monster 1984 hit for the 80's super group Duran Duran, taken from the album Arena.

Looks like Bursa Malaysia, will be KFM's ARENA tomorrow, as the company had just announced, that the stock exchange, has just given it a reprieve from being delisted.

But for how long can the wild boys keep running before the law catches up with them?

Maybank. Applause

Is a 2013 hit for Lady Gaga, taken from her third album Artpop.

Maybank, which recently signed up with Samsung, to provide Samsung Pay Service, to its customers, deserve further Applause, for tieing up with Western Union.

The release is below. Read on :

Maybank and Western Union have launched a digital remittance service in Malaysia via the Maybank2u (“M2u”) mobile banking app and Maybank’s website.

The service enables Maybank customers to transfer money to more than 500,000 Western Union® Agent locations in over 200 countries and territories.

The money transfer service is available 24 hours a day and customers to transfer up to RM10,000 daily. Recipients will be able to receive money quickly after it is wired by the sender.

Bank Negara Malaysia. Ecstasy

Is a hit last year for  DJ Calvin Harris, taken from the album motion.

Bank Negara Malaysia, must have taken more than a couple of esctasy pills, for petting itself on its own back, for claiming that it has managed to stifle the offshore NDF market.

The measure only hurts exporters, with a extra forex cost burden, and has not helped the Ringgit, which slipped further to 4.48 against the US, despite soaring oil prices.

Anyway, this is Bank Negara Malaysia's story, as written by Reuters. Read Below :

Bank Negara said on Wednesday the "disruptive influence" from the non-deliverable forward (NDF) market on the ringgit has subsided, making a success of its efforts to stifle the offshore market.

Last month, the central bank began trying to force currency traders overseas to stop driving the ringgit lower and demanded that banks sign a commitment to cease trading the ringgit on the offshore NDF market.

Bank Negara also said it would implement several measures to boost onshore ringgit trade.

Liquidity on the onshore foreign exchange market registered a daily average volume of around US$9 billion this month, compared to a monthly average of US$8 billion in the previous 11 months, Bank Negara said in a statement on Wednesday.

"FX flows comprise supply and demand from all major participants, including the exporters/importers, portfolio related and direct investments," the central bank said

KFM Bhd. JOHN nie B Goode

Is the 1958 hit for Chuck Berry that changed rock n roll music forever.

Looking at KFM today, the trading has been fantastic, the stock is up 13 Sen to 22 Sen a share.

How many of you, have the balls to hold KFM shares overnight, as the market sences that at any given time Bursa Malaysia can shout : JOHN nie B Goode, and slap more than an UMA!!!

Bursa Malaysia. Show Me Love

Is the massive hit from 2015 by Sam Feldt, from the album of the same name.

Over the past 23 months, the net foreign out flow from Bursa Malaysia stood at RM23 billion, or RM1 billion a month. Local retail participation on Bursa Malaysia is in a deep coma.

Against this backdrop, industry players are now asking Bursa Malaysia to allow common sense to prevail, and legalise market making and market makers.

Market makers and market making is already legal in the USA and Hong Kong, so will Bursa Malaysia, be Pro active, practical and "show me love" to save the Malaysian stock market from further man made declines???

Yuan. The Heat Is On

Is the 1984 hit from Glenn Frey, of the eagles, taken from the album the allnighter.

China is bracing for an allnighter on January 1 2017, when the heat is on the Yuan, which could spark yet another rally on Bitcoin, this year's best performing currency. Bloomberg has the story. Read below :

The first day of 2017 is when an annual $50,000 quota to convert the yuan into foreign exchange resets, stoking concern there will be a rush to sell the local currency. With tax payments and a regulatory assessment also tightening liquidity in the money market toward year-end, January may bring scant relief as lenders prepare for stronger cash demand before Lunar New Year holidays, which are only a month away.

KFM Bhd. Glory Days

Is a 1984 hit for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, taken from the  highly successful Born in The USA album.

KFM is up 7.5 Sen to 16.5 sen following its announcement of a MOU with Lotus Esential Sdn Bhd, a company that imports and exports steam coal, corn starch and tapioca starch.

If you recall just weeks ago, KFM had a big rally, that ended up not so well when FELCRA axed a RTO plan.

KFM, reminds me of the glory days, when stocks like Iris, Farm's Best, and Tanah Emas would shoot up, on half baked announcements.

None of it ended well. KFM looks like a stock, with its name written on it for a UMA, and cash up front settlement.

Singapore. Malaysia. Ironic

Is the 1996 hit for Alanis Morissette, taken from her best selling album, jagged little pill.

Singapore's monetary authority might be feeling like having one of those jagged little pill , considering that Malaysians have topped the bad behaviour list on the island state.

Bloomberg has the story. Read below :

The naughty list for Singapore financiers has rarely been so long.

From the 1Malaysia Development Bhd.-linked scandal to a 333-count front-running case and the largest market-manipulation prosecution in Singapore’s history, this year’s allegations of MALAYSiAN moneymen behaving badly have put the city-state’s image as a squeaky-clean financial hub to the test.

Regulators have responded with their busiest year of enforcement actions, shutting the local units of two Swiss banks, fining some of the world’s biggest lenders and seizing S$240 million ($166 million) of assets. Ravi Menon, the head of Singapore’s central bank, summed up the city’s mood as the 1MDB-related cases escalated in July: “We can do better.”

The stakes could hardly be higher for a city that relies on finance for 13 percent of its economy and has 200,000 jobstied to the industry. With exports sliding and the local oil services industries in a slump, Singapore needs to protect the reputation of its financial sector as it grapples with the weakest economic growth since 2009.

Nasdaq 5500. Dow Jones. Final Countdown

Is the mega hit from 1986, for rockers Europe, taken from the album of the same name.

The Nasdaq hit a historical milestone yesterday, when it touched 5500 points before ending the day at a record close of 5487.44 points.

That leaves, the final countdown for the Dow Jones to trade or close at the 20,000 points before this year is over.

For that historical milestone to take place, the Dow Jones needs to add just under 55 points.

Airasia. EPF. Face Down Ass Up

Is a 2009 hit for 2Iive Crew, taken from the album banned in the USA.

What EPF is doing with regards to Airasia , is not banned in the USA, but it should be INVESTIGATED by the authorities here in Kuala Lumpur.

EPF which was selling AirAsia shares, early this year, like there was no tomorrow, when the shares were going up, resulting in the fund ceasing to be a substantial shareholder in the budget carrier, has suddenly returned as a substantial shareholder.

In a Face down, Ass up strategy, EPF is buying AirAsia shares at way above the cost, it sold the shares in the very first place.

Why is EPF selling low, and buying on the high side? The mathematics, do not tally, especially since EPF is buying the AirAsia shares like there is no tommorow, when AirAsia shares are falling like nine pins in a bowling alley .

Ringgit Malaysia. UOB versus Public Bank. I Want A New Drug

Is the 1984 hit for rockers Huey Lewis & The News.

Either the people at Public Bank or UOB will be in need of a new drug, when 2017 is over.

Public Bank says that the Ringgit will average between RM4.10 and RM4.15 in 2017, while UOB says the Ringgit will average at 4.50 against the US Dollar next year.

Both however agree, that in 2017 prices of your daily sundry goods are going to spike up, and with that, I , you , me and everyonelse will WANT A NEW DRUG, just to ease the pain, by a little.

Bank Negara Malaysia. Alarm

Is a current UK top 10 hit for Anne Marrie.

Looks like Bank Negara Malaysia, has started rising the ALARM bells, on foreign banks not willing to play ball on its restrictions imposed on trading of the Ringgit. All these is bad news for the Ringgit.

The Nikkei Asian Review, has the story. Read below :

Malaysia takes action against ringgit rate-fixing misconduct

KUALA LUMPUR (NewsRise) -- Malaysia's central bank Tuesday said it has initiated action against a financial institution for failing to promptly report a dealer's misconduct in fixing the U.S. dollar-ringgit exchange rate.

A "significant" audit finding indicates communications - including "inappropriate" references to the fixing rate submission process -- with traders from other foreign financial institutions, Bank Negara Malaysia said in a statement. The central bank didn't name the parties involved.

The move comes as Malaysia grapples with a steadily weakening ringgit that plunged to its lowest since the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis.

So far this year, the ringgit has declined nearly 4.0% against the U.S. dollar, adding to last year's 19% fall that made it the worst performing Asian currency in 2015.

Bursa Malaysia. Ten to Ten. Suratan Takdir

Was a massive hit in the early 1990's for Malaysia's very own Gersang, taken from their debut album Takdir.

Takdir, would have it after, foreign  investors net bought RM40 million of shares on Bursa Malaysia, two weeks ago, that the tide would once again change, this time by more than ten times in the opposite direction .

Suratan takdir or not, according to MIDF, foreign funds net sold some RM481 million shares last week.

Year todate, foreigners have net sold RM3 billion on Bursa Malaysia this year.

Rajawali. Felda. Back To Back

Is a current hit for Canada's Drake, that was recorded in 2015.

The current Federal Land Development Authority's deal to buy a 37 per cent stake in PT Eagle from Rajawali Group,  doesn't say if this deal will trigger a previous Back to Back agreement for the Indonesians to buy a 21 per cent stake in the listed Felda.

Talk in town is the Indonesians will be buying Felda shares from the open market, which currently is trading at RM1.53

Felda. Bernama. A Different Corner

Is the 1985 mega hit by George Michael.
Bernama's justification of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda)'s US$505 Million purchase of PT Eagle from the Rajwali Group, is out right STUPID.
First of all, do NOT compare the valuation used by KL Kepong' ini their failed attempt to gain control of MP Evans.
The reason being is KL Kepong' plan was centered on it becoming the controlling shareholder in MP Evans, as for the Felda deal, looks like they will get only between one to two board seat.
For US$505 million, Felda should have control of PT Eagle, but unfortunately, we are sitting at a DIFFERENT corner.
And nobody uses , enterprise value to buy a minority stake.

EPF. Felda Global. Malaysia Kini. Taboo

Is the 2011 monster Latin hit for Don Omar, taken from the album meet the orphans.

Malaysiakini, very skillfully brings it's readers to meet the orphans, the state linked funds that still owns shares in Felda Global.

In an article yesterday, Malaysiakini, which I suspect knows exactly what it's doing says that state funds are saddled with a RM5 billion paper loss.

A paper loss is exactly what it is a paper loss, but MalaysiaKini keeps a silent TABOO on how much these funds have received as Dividends from Felda.  The dividends paid out runs to hundreds of millions .

Lucky thing Warren Buffet is not Malaysian, because if he was, MalaysiaKini will ask him to drop his pants and come clean, because back in June, he suffered a RM28 billion PAPER LOSS

Here is the blast from the past, not from the uncredible New Straits Times, but from Time Magazine itself. Read Below:

Warren Buffett Likely Lost Billions After Brexit Vote

Denver Nicks @DenverNicksJune 28, 2016

The Oracle of Omaha isn’t in the poor house but his losses could add up.

The famously successful investor Warren Buffett—who has raked in billions guided by his motto to “Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful”—probably took a big loss like the rest of us after the UK voted to leave the European Union last week.

While the financial services research firm KBW estimated roughly $800 million in losses to the book value of Berkshire Hathaway’s holdings, the financial news site 24/7 Wall Street does rough calculations of its own to determine the losses in real value to Buffett’s holdings, and the results aren’t pretty.

The number crunching by 24/7 Wall Street includes a lot of guesswork and assumptions, but if it’s anywhere near on the mark, the losses could total quite a lot of money.

All told, losses in Berkshire Hathaway’s equity holdings could reach nearly $7 billion, which on a portfolio of $128 billion as of March 31, works out to a loss of about 5.4%.

Mieco Chipboard. Automatic

Is the 2012 hit for the self styled queen of rap Nicki Minaj.

With the Ringgit now at RM4.49 against the US Dollar, Mieco looks to benefit considerably, because the bulk of its revenue is in US Dollars, and also because it's factories are mostly run on the AUTOMATIC.

What this means are, it's machineries are automated, hence they rely less on hard labour .

On October, I wrote :

Mieco GO Is Good

As DEAD. Ng Ah Chai made a mandatory general offer for Meico at 90 sen a share.

The stock now trades at RM1.03, though volume so far is not convincing enough, for Meico to retest the RM1.40 level now.

That could however change in December though, if the dollar keeps firm, and the spring cleaning takes place as planned.

I like Meico, but this no contra stock...as Meico's real potential might only be realised in 2017.

WELL December is going to end, and Mieco is trading at RM1.30. This stock has all the tools to be a RM2 a share stock , come February 2017.

The Star. Bernama. Malaysia.2017. Crying In The Rain

Is the 1989 massive hit for Norway's Aha, from the album, east of the sun, West of the moon.

The Star in a PKR style assault in the article entitled today: Will 2017 Be A Good Year For Business, puts the Bernama Business Editor at his shameful place, by saying : "Just saying the ringgit will bounce back without any solid plans will cut no ice with me. How, why and when will it bounce back?"

East of the Sun, West of the moon, the Star makes no bones that Malaysia is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Instead of just Crying In The Rain, the Star is urging the minister in Charge of Human Resources, to get off his fat arse, and provide exporters the 1.5 million extra foreign workers, so that we can start earning the much needed us dollars that we need to get our economy back on its feet again.

If the Minister  cannot deliver, than Najib Razak, must deliver this additional manpower. And that is the bottom line.

China 2 Trump. Let's Dance

Is the 1982 hit from the stand out album of the same name by David Bowie.
Looks like, China is finally done with talking, and playing PR games, which only makes Donald Trump look strong.
China now says to Trump : Bring it on. Let's Dance. Bloomberg has the story. Read below :

China Slaps GM With $29 Million Fine Amid Growing Tensions

China slapped a $29 million fine on General Motors Co. for antitrust violations, a sign of the growing tensions between the U.S. and the Asian nation

The largest U.S. automaker is accused of setting minimum prices on some models in its SAIC General Motors joint venture. The Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission, which imposed the 201 million yuan fine, alleged in a statement that GM punished dealers who sold cars for less than the prices set by the Detroit-based automaker.

This is the first time China has fined GM, the second-largest foreign carmaker in China by sales.

China-U.S. relations have become strained after President-elect Donald Trump proposed tariffs on Chinese goods, questioned the One-China policy regarding Taiwan and accusedthe Asian nation of stealing an American naval drone in international waters in the South China Sea.

A Communist Party newspaper in November said a “tit for tat” retaliation could follow proposals by Trump for tariffs on the world’s largest trading nation, which had $627 billion in U.S. trade in 2015.

Ringgit 4.50. Bernama. I'm Gonna Tear Your Play House Down

Is the 1980's mega hit by Paul Young, taken from the album the secret of association.

After months of telling Malaysians to RELAX, Bernama is suddenly changing its tune, saying somebody's gonna tear Ringgit Malaysia's playhouse down

Bernama says the Ringgit against the US Dollar will hit RM4.50 next week.

RM4.49 now buys one us dollar, against the backdrop of crude palm oil prices at a four week low, and oil prices at at 52 week high of US$55.16 satu tong.

A weak Ringgit is good for Malaysian exporters, so watch out for Mieco Chipboard, Inari and Top Glove.

Here is the Bernama story. Read below :

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit is expected to remain under pressure next week and may hit the 4.50-level against the US dollar on continued foreign fund outflows from the emerging markets, said a dealer.

Affin Hwang Investment Bank Vice-President/Retail Research Head Datuk Dr Nazri Khan Adam Khan said the local note hit 4.4780 against the greenback on Tuesday, the lowest level since the 4.71-level recorded in January 1998.

"The continuous foreign fund outflows is due to the recent US Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate hike, the anticipation of more rate hikes in 2017, as well as President-elect Donald Trump's new policies on infrastructure spending and tax cuts," he told Bernama.

Ringgit Malaysia. We Came To Smash

Is the 2012 hit by French DJ Martin Solveig, taken from his fourth album smash.

Looks like the Ringgit, just got SMASH ed by the US Dollar and Indonesian Rupiah.

At last count, One US Dollar is same as RM4.49, while RM1000 ringgit now can only buy 2.991 million Rupiah.

We came to smash indeed!!!!

APFT. Land Of Confusion

Is the 1986 hit for English rock band Genesis, taken from the album invincible touch.

Who ever is advising APFT, plus it's so called company secretary must have "the invisible touch" in taking people to the LAND OF CONFUSION.

APFT, today got a new executive director and an independent director.
This is what the company told Bursa Malaysia, can anyone under stand what APFT is trying to say under the description  column of the appointment. Read Below :

Felda Global. Najib Razak. Redemption Song

Is the final track from Bob Marley's ninth and final album entitled uprising .

The 1980 hit, is one of Bob Marley's biggest hit.

Today, there is an UPRISING because  EPF have sold off all their shares in Felda Global.

Felda Global shares are also down by five per cent today because of the EPF sale .

The sale by EPF is however a REDEMPTION song for Najib Razak, long accused by the likes of Rafizi, Tony Pua, Malaysian Chronicle of using state funds to prop up Felda Global shares .

One can assume, that the EPF sale, have left plenty of RED faces on the YELLOW side of MALAYSIA.

Jho Low's Banker. 30 Months. Singapore. Jailhouse Rock

Is the 1957 hit for Elvis Presley, taken from the movie soundtrack of the same name.

The banker, known in the mass media as Jho Low's banker, will most probably not be humming to the Jailhouse Rock tune, for very valid reasons.

Bloomberg has the story. Read below:

Singapore Gives Toughest Sentence Yet in 1MDB-Related Case

Ex-BSI banker Yeo gets 30 months for obstruction of justice

He is third ex-BSI banker found guilty in Singapore probes

Yeo Jiawei, a former wealth planner at Swiss bank BSI SA, was given a 30-month jail term, the longest sentence yet handed down by the courts in Singapore’s probes linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd.

Yeo, 34, is the third former BSI banker to be found guilty in the city’s 1MDB-related investigations. Yak Yew Chee is serving an 18-week jail term and was fined after being convicted in November of forging documents and failing to disclose suspicious transactions allegedly related to Malaysian financier Low Taek Jho. Another banker, Yvonne Seah Yew Foong, was jailed for two weeks and fined on Dec. 16 for similar offenses. In Yeo’s case, the prosecution had asked for a 36-month sentence.

“The accused has been found guilty of serious offenses that go to the heart of the administration of justice and do violence to the rule of law in Singapore,” said prosecutors in their address on the sentence. “Such conduct must be unequivocally stamped out and deterred.”

Such a move would deliver on President-elect Donald Trump's "America First" campaign theme. But it's causing alarm among business interests and the pro-trade Republican establishment.

The Trump transition team didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the prospect of new tariffs.

But a transition official said the team has discussed implementing a border adjustment tax measure under consideration by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady, which would tax imports to spur US manufacturing.

Basically, it tracks "FAST CARS", that have been stolen, and it has a track record, of recovering 98 per cent of the cars stolen from its owner's with the first one hour itself.

This is very impressive, consideribg Malaysia ranks sixth in the world in terms of car theft, with one car lost every 24 minutes. Less than one out of 10 stolen cars are ever recovered and returned to owners.

So IF GOT any PN 17 company wants to do RTO, don't call FELCRA, try KASTANA instead lah, as next year it will be breaking into the RM4.8 billion car insurance business. 🙌

Navarro was one of the leading economists on the Trump campaign, co-authoring a report on growth plans in September with Trump’s pick for Commerce Department chief, Wilbur Ross. Steven Mnuchin, the co-founder of Dune Capital Management LP, was nominated to be Treasury secretary and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Tecguan Perdana. Sun Goes Down

Is one of the hottest singles of 2015 by German DJ Robin Schulz with Jasmine Thomson, taken from the album prayer.

Prayer is what you need, if you are holding Tec Guan Perdana shares, as the Sun Goes Down, on the stock despite higher revenue and profits.

Tecguan is down 44 Sen to RM2.33 a share, and the talk in the market place is that the selling on the stock with very little free float might last up to Friday, just enough red ink to bleed the contra men.

The Empat here is that in as many as four years direct, the Ringgit is going to end up in 2016 against the Dollar as a LOSE®

The 1000 per cent rally. Hot Right Now

Is the 2012 hit for DJ Fresh and Rita Ora.

Hot Right Now is the story of a Brazilian Billionaire and the stock which has given a return of 1000 per cent .

Bloomberg has the story. Read below :

Luiz Alves Paes de Barros is something of an enigma in Sao Paulo’s financial circles. At 69, he’s known around town as the “anonymous billionaire” for quietly amassing a fortune by wagering on stocks almost no one else seemed to want.

In Magazine Luiza SA, Barros may have made one of his best bets yet.

Starting in late 2015, Barros’s Alaska Investimentos Ltda. made the battered retailer one of its biggest holdings, a brazen move in a nation stuck in the middle of its worst recession in a century. It paid off.

Magazine Luiza has surged more than 1,000 percent since reaching a record low about a year ago, making it the top stock in one of the world’s top-performing markets.

That turned Alaska’s Black Master, which Barros co-manages with Henrique Bredda and Ney Miyamoto, into the No. 2 fund among 569 peers focused on Brazilian equities, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Barros’s latest success only adds to the intrigue surrounding one of Brazil’s most storied, but media-shy, individual investors.

"Perfecting patience is all I’ve done over the past 50 years," Barros says. "I love when things get bad. When it’s bad, I buy.

The U.S. Office of the Trade Representative on Wednesday restored Alibaba to its annual Notorious Markets blacklist -- just four years after the Chinese company managed to get off.

“We are very disappointed by the USTR’s decision,” to include Alibaba’s Taobao unit on the list, “which ignores the real work Alibaba has done against counterfeiters,” Michael Evans, president of Alibaba Group, said in a statement.

Not Everyone Muslim. Malays Will Be Destroyed. Buffalo Soldier

Is the 1983 global hit for Bob Marley, taken from his posthumous album confrontation .

The Malay Mail, quoting a very pissed of UMNO Veterans as saying :

The federal government and Islamic authorities must shutter Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Madinah (MEDIU) immediately, the Umno Veterans Association of Malaysia demanded tonight.

The political group’s secretary-general Datuk Mustapha Yaakub claimed that the Shah Alam, Selangor institution is breeding militants that sought to camouflage its clandestine activities under a similar name.

“Do not let what happened in Syria, Yemen and Iraq happen in this country. Act now before it’s too late. Malaysian and Muslims here cannot afford to face the destruction that have happened in those countries.

“Remember that not everyone here is Muslim. If it happens, the Malays will be destroyed,” he added.

VERY strong words indeed from UMNO Veterans, there is more to this story, even more than the noice made at the BERNAMA Newsroom, when MEDIU sent in a statement , bukan dalam bahasa kebangsaan mahupun bahasa Inggris, tapi CUMA dlm bahasa Arab .

Buffalo Soldiers indeed, but whoes soldiers?

KFM Bhd. Tak Ingin Sendiri

Is the 1984 hit single for Indonesia's, Dian Piesesha, taken from the album of the same name.

It's her biggest hit ever, and tak ingin sendiri is one of the first albums to sell over a million copies.

KFM, has a lot of questions to answer, as to why it made the announcement to Bursa Malaysia, on FELCRA, without first accepting the FELCRA offer to look into a possible RTO .

KFM Tak ingin Sendiri, di jadikan teladan oleh SC, sedangkan sampai kini, masyarakat umum tak nampak sebarang tindakan dlm kes CIMB -VIVOCOM, mahupun berkenaan kes Hevea bersecocok dgn seorang pemuda dari CIMB .

The SC and Bursa can no longer sweep all these under the carpet, because if they do, then sooner or later, people will be asking this question is the SC itself clean?

Every senior broker, every senior CF guy, every deal maker worth their salt, knows the answer.

Justo. Ringgit. Talking In Your Sleep

Is a 1984 global hit for the Romantics, taken from the album in heat.

The lyrics to this song goes something like this :

When you close your eyes and you go to sleep
And it's down to the sound of a heartbeat
I can hear the things that you're dreaming about
When you open up your heart and the truth comes

Xavier Justo should be home by tonight, after being freed from a Thai prison today .

The HEAT is on everybody, and Justo even if you are Talking In Your Sleep, everything you say is going to have an impact on the Ringgit, and it really doesn't matter if they are all true or a pack of lies .
