BY right since Victor Chin Boon Long, and his minion Francis Leong Seng Wui, were being questioned under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001, there is enough provisions within Federal law frame to hold both of them, even before formal charges.

THE Prevention of Crime Act 1959 (POCA) in Malaysia is a preventive law aimed at combating organized crime, secret societies, and terrorism by allowing police to detain suspects without trial for up to 60 days.

YET  both men, were allowed to go home, one after 48 hours, while the other, Francis Leong Seng Wui, the short minion, after  14 day Hilton style stay with the loveable policemen.

TODAY, both men are in someone else land,  where Malaysian law has no jurisdiction, is not the worst part of the story.

EITHER  we believe in fairy tales, and cats with nine lives, or make a logical  assumption, in the critical days, when they were still in Malaysia,  inside information was being provided.

AND the main shareholder to who is offering to take up the rights placement , has gone missing after being told,  he is a suspect in Malaysia's biggest in-house money laundering investigation.

WHILE  the probe on Francis Leong Seng Wui involves his activities in five public listed companies  as well  as in the privately held Granstead Sdn Bhd.

GRANSTEAD, a Kreditkomuniti  company from Petaling Jaya is run by Lim Siew Ping,  whoes mother/aunty is a seasoned corporate player, Madam Lim Siew Eng.

BOTH Lim Siew Ping, a former director at MMAG Bhd, a former major shareholder of Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd and Francis Leong Seng Wui were previously simultaneously arrested by the Police.

THE investigations on  Teh Chee Hoe is far more damaging , involving in tampering with evidence, instructions to hide documents regarding Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd before Revenue Group office was raided as well as in organised crime.

CHIN Chai , is the Hokkien/TeoChew speaking people major contribution to the Tamil, Malay and English language as spoken by one Malaysian to another.

CHIN chai as an expression reflects on a carefree attitude, a paradox attitude seeded by external validation.

THE country won't go down just because Bloomberg highlighted that within the Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency, there is a section that is rotten.

NEITHER will the Government fall, because Bloomberg wrote an article, which no one todate have come out  proved its allegations against section D of MACC is wrong.

HOW do I know, the government can't be brought down by this article? Because , we have had worst, and precedents prove, Government's can't be brought down on that call.

WAN Shaharuddin Wan Ladin, was sent back packing to the Attorney General's office,  in what officially is being described as a routine transfer.

THERE is nothing routine in this transfer, considering Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin's track record in high profile MACC cases where those prosecuted had alleged they were intimidated. 

CASE in point is the case involving Giib Holdings Bhd where READ : the court threw out the case in 2023 and by 2024, MACC dropped all charges.

THE case involving the Revenue Brothers, also took a strange twist, when Revenue Group Bhd itself pulled from all the civil court cases against  the brothers, just days before the MACC key witness , the former managing of Revenue Group, Eddie Ng Chee Siong crumbled.

EDDIE Ng Chee Siong's answers in the MACC initiated criminal case was so unsatisfactory, that even the judge called for a time out, and asked the MACC prosecuting team to consider if they really wanted to  proceed.

I can tell you off hand, neither Azam Baki or the Anwar Ibrahim are guilty as they are being made out to be.

WHAT if I tell you, there is somebody higher up and more powerful than Azam Baki also has shares in a same company with Teleng, and to juice it up further,  one of Innov8tif  Solution shareholders is also a shareholder.

WHAT many people fail to realise, the Corporate Mafia only emerged as a force when Perikatan Nasional came to power.

 THERE  are three PN cabinet members who are close to Victor Chin Boon Long's  group, specifically Hamzah Zainuddin,  Ismail Sabri and Khairy Jamaluddin.

State of the Nation: The Case No One Wants to Investigate.

IF this was another country in the modern world, where the citizens and lawmakers alike will leave no stone unturned to find the truth, expose hidden cartels, then I guarantee  you, this case would merit a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI).

THE  RCI  in Malaysia is the highest-level, independent fact-finding body appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong under the Commissions of Enquiry Act 1950 to investigate matters of significant public importance.

THE  matter that should be the centre of investigation is to what extent senior civil servants have  been compromised, due to their dealings with the group led by Victor Chin Boon Long, commonly known as the Corporate Mafia.

A check on past and present filings to Bursa Malaysia,  on companies said to be under the control of the Victor Chin Boon Long group would reveal the following.

 COMPANIES such as Revenue Group Bhd, Nexg Bina Bhd, Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd, MMAG Bhd, Velocity Capital Partners Bhd and Ingenieur Gudang Berhad, has had some very very senior ex public officials joining these companies.

WHICH is fine and dandy, until you find out the colleagues of these very senior civil servants, who were still in the civil service  was effectively being under the payroll of the Corporate Mafia.

CASE in point, is the fact that Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd's Finance Director had paid a RM 5 million bribe to Mohamad Madani Sahari, the CEO of Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii).

The Prime Minister Is Not Happy.

WHEN ,  the sitting Prime Minister of Malaysia is not happy with your work rate, ethics , and overall performance, he will definitely let you know.

NOT in a private setting, nor will the Prime Minister, waste his time, advising or attempt to motivate,  what in all intent and purpose is a waste wall disguised as a the chairman and CEO of Bursa Malaysia.

IT was intense to be a wake up call but judging  by the Bursa Malaysia CEO' Fad'l Mohamed  attitude  that the  READ : numbers remain important, is set for showdown , that ends with a new chairman and ceo.

State of the Nation: Double Standards

WE  are a nation recklessly  moving closer to lawlessness because of our love of double standards and the closing of one eye.

DOUBLE standards implies that two things which are the same are measured by different standards.

JUST look at how READ : Zahid Hamidi's case has always been treated. One would assume, Malaysians really want to see this man go to jail.

ESPECIALLY,  when one considers the sound bites on the case of Ismail Sabri, the ninth Prime Minister of Malaysia, READ :has been totally non existent.

NEVERMIND, that more than RM100 million in cash and gold bars were found, yet not a single push to have Ismail Sabri put in jail or even resign as a member of Parliament.

WHY is that so?  because we like Ismail Sabri's face and hate Zahid Hamidi's guts?

THE same goes in how we judge the actions of directors. At the public listed level,  we give directors an easy ride by placing barriers such as non related party clauses due to the number of shares held and so on.

BUT for non listed companies, directors who have taken the same actions as their listed counter parts could actually  face action under Act 574 of the Malaysian Penal Code, which is basically boils down to criminal breach of trust.

LAW makers  and their enforcers,  should drop the double standards, because the actions of a listed entity should only be constrained to that of its holding company and not to its subsidiaries.

THERE is nothing in the Companies Act, which forbids an executive director from resiging from his post, as soon as the company wins shareholders approval for a rights issue exercise.

IN Revenue Group  Bhd's case, Francis  Seng Wui can still meet all his commitments to the rights issue, as he still remains a substantial shareholder.

HENCE it is extremely odd for Bursa Malaysia to give READ :REVENUE Group Bhd a six month extension on the rights issue.

WHY is it odd, one may ask? Well since the exchange has been so fast in giving the six month extension to Revenue Group Bhd, isn't the exchange delirious in wanting  to know, for its sake and also for the sake of minority shareholders what were the exact reasons Francis Leong Seng Wui had shockingly quit as executive director? 

THE reason given by Leong Seng Wui, VIEW : due to other personal commitments, is obviously not good enough, because he quitting as executive director seems to have a direct co relation to Revenue Group's  rights issue going haywire.

WHY is Bursa Malaysia, not acting as an honest broker? Why is Bursa Malaysia giving Francis Leong Seng Wui a free pass, to make market regulators look like monkey, and at the same time withhold crucial information to minority shareholders. 

BURSA Malaysia has so far refused to question Revenue Group, if indeed Francis Leong Seng Wui was detained for more than a week by the Police and under what circumstances. 

THE exchange is playing with fire with regards to its own reputation, and it's chairman a disgrace for allowing the exchange's reputation to sink so LOW.

AKMAL is desperate to save his own future into something more meaningful, having played the role of the good cop and the bad cop, with neither roles providing enough currency to jump into the next level.

IN 2019, UMNO had 54 parliament seats or 300 per cent more than the 18 held by PAS, meaning  everybody knew who calls the shots and who is the boss. 

WHY should UMNO risk a cosy life now and then pray they won't be degraded like Muhyiddin Yassin...a pray too far off to succeed considering PAS have walked away from a every political party in West Malaysia who is a somebody?

PAS days are numbered. They won big in GE 15, using the Perikatan Nasional logo. That logo is worthless without Muhyiddin Yassin.
