Abang Johari Openg : This Land is MY LAND!!

is the song written in 1940 and released in 1944 by Woodie Guthrie. It is one of the most popular folk song off all time.

I have never written in this blog with RAW ANGER until today. 

As I was walkin' - I saw a sign there
And that sign said "No trespassin'"
But on the other side .... it didn't say nothin!
Now that side was made for you and me!

In the squares of the city - In the shadow of the steeple
Near the relief office - I see my people
And some are grumblin' and some are wonderin'
If this land's still made for you and me

This land is your land, this land is my land

If I was Prime Minister for a day,  the only thing I would do is NOT sit  in the same table or be partners with any Malaysian who says my land is MALAYA. 

My land can be known as Tanah Melayu, or by her official name that is MALAYSIA.  Respect this NAME for many good men had given their lives for our land MALAYSIA. 

I really hope the VIBES had misquoted  Abang Johari cause READ : We know SARAWAK better than anyone else. Look at MALAYA, they have had three prime ministers in the past few years. We don’t want our politics to end up like that.

Using the term Malaya in Modern Malaysia is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
