ISMAIL Sabri needs to have a good look at himself in the mirror,. as he has just congratulated a guy who decided it is better to be a citizen of another country than to be a Malaysian.
WHY the Prime Minister should have a hard look at himself is because of the policies that he has championed are the direct reasons why an estimated two million Malaysians have chosen to stay away from this land.
NUMBERS don't lie. READ : The highly skilled Malaysian dispora send RM4 billion home,. while the low skilled Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia sent home RM17 billion in the same period.
WHAT this means in the most simplistic terms is the Malaysian dispora, being rich have not gone abroad and remain abroad for economic reasons.
WHILE many will point to the New Economic policy as the main reason. This type of thinking is actually flawed, as the NEP did the job it was intended to do, mainly creating a strong middle class Malay population.
MOSTLY, many are staying away because instead of going into the next step in creating an equally even Malaysia,. Ismail Sabri is still stuck in the 1970's.
TAKE for instance Gombak, which has a Malay population of almost 70 per cent, or even PutraJaya which has a Bumiputra population of 97 per cent enjoying a very high median income and then compare it with the below avrage median income in Kelantan. READ : The income disparity

Ismail Sabri can actually get things right, if he will just open his mind as the key is disparity between Rural Malaysia and Urban Malaysia,.a matter which the Prime Minister says is close to his heart.
BUT to get things done right, the Prime Minister should stop pandering to the fat rich Bumiputra elite, who are actually a minority and start listening to the rural folks by help lifting every Malaysian who needs a helping hand instead of putting us in a racial box of Malay, Chinese and Indian,. which we no longer WANT.
