State of the Nation : Grey Rhino On A One Way Ticket To Malaysia.

YES, the two tonne beast known as the Grey Rhino is charging full steam ahead towards Malaysia.

THE question here is will we be able to recognise the in a hurry beast on time or let it trample us due to our glaring naivety.

NAIVETY is when, we actually believe that Azam Baki is what ails the MACC, disregarding the wisdom of a man I hold in very high esteem, China's esteemed statesman Mr Deng Xiaoping who eloquently put it , "It doesn't matter whether a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice".

THE basic concept of a Grey Rhino is that they are high probability and high impact risks which we see coming, and for various reasons outlined in the book, we do nothing about until the risk (The Rhino), is upon us. We either jump aside and the Rhino misses us, or we get trampled to death.

IN a nutshell, there are too many people who shouldn't be in the employment of the MACC are in the organisation, with Azam Baki not being one of them.

DON'T bother waiting for the BLACK SWANS to arrive, to discuss the white elephant sitting in the room, because this project can and will sink us much deeper than READ : the USD12 billion, IMDB sinked us into.

AT an interest rate of 3.25 per cent, spread over 20 years after a seven year moratorium,  the READ : RM39.1 billion loan from China's EXIM Bank is eventually  going to cost tax payers about RM45 billion in interest cost, without even taking into account the Government subsidies required to make the rail link palatable. 

CHINA, itself is READ : speeding toward a US$1 trillion black hole due to its Rail revolution turning out to be  a ‘money pit’ as debt soars for one of Beijing’s most prestigious projects.

NEVERMIND, China, and never mind that rail tonnage as a cargo mover, even in READ : ASEAN are on the decline.

ANTHONY Loke of the DAP, who happens to be the transport minister, short of being called out as being DISHONEST should explain how the Government came up with the math the ECRL will be handling 53 million tonnes of cargo annually by 2030.

TO put things into perspective, the National Rail company only handles about 6 million tonnes a year.

EVEN before completion of ECRL the writing is on the wall, courtesy of Channel News Asia which states READ :that Job opportunities supposedly created by the project, fell short from the targeted 80,000 estimate.

WITH a net worth of  RM63 million, R Ramanan the Member of Parliament  from  Sg Buloh is said to be the second richest Keadilan MP.

HE is also the Deputy Communication chief of PKR, who has a feather in his cap, that being his upset win over Khairy Jamaluddin, despite the Nation being swept over by a green wave or a Malay centric wave in the last general election. 

RAMANAN was rich even before he joined PKR, and even before he was appointed as a deputy minister.  

THUS far, no an iota of scandal has been slapped on Ramanan, aside  from him being rich and close to Anwar Ibrahim.

AS for Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, a lot of Malaysians, aren't aware that the wanker was rich even when he was in the opposition and has served as a director in companies linked to John Soh Chee Wen in Singapore.

BUT even before that, Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak was rich and has strong links to Muslim organisations world wide.

DON'T  take my word for it, but rather go find out for your self the amount of money he had raised in his student days at the University of Portsmouth, in the UK.

UNKNOWN to most Malaysians, Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak has strong Islamic credentials which would put to shame the credentials of leaders in the same age group in UMNO, BERSATU and even PAS.

1. Penyusunan Semula Lembaga Pengarah Besra

Besra kini sedang melalui proses penyusunan semula Lembaga Pengarah mereka. Jawatan-jawatan kepimpinan, termasuk di peringkat tertinggi, sedang mengalami perubahan. Gold Contract Note antara QM dan Besra merupakan kontrak tempahan emas yang sah dan mengikat secara undang-undang. Dalam bahasa mudah, ia seperti menempah emas pada harga tetap lebih awal. QM telah menetapkan harga, dan Besra mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk menyerahkan emas fizikal selepas proses perlombongan bermula. Ini bukan janji lisan – ia adalah kontrak rasmi yang ditandatangani oleh kedua-dua pihak.

Peranti ini adalah produk keluaran Quantum Metal Bullion (QMB) – bukan Besra.

5. Pembaharuan Lesen Perlombongan Besra Sedang Berjalan

Besra kini sedang dalam proses pembaharuan lesen perlombongan mereka dengan pihak berkuasa negeri Sarawak. Ini adalah prosedur biasa yang perlu dilalui sebelum sebarang operasi perlombongan berskala penuh dijalankan. Kawasan konsesi Jugan (sebahagian daripada Projek Bau) sedang dalam semakan.

Pihak kepimpinan baharu Besra telah menyatakan bahawa kelulusan lesen ini adalah keutamaan mereka. Buat masa ini, projek masih berada dalam fasa persediaan sementara menunggu kelulusan.

VELOCITY Capital Partners Bhd total exposure to the stock market via its Kreditkomuniti licensed money lending entity is at an unrealistic level.

UNREALISTIC enough for one to question the competence and INTEGRITY  of the DAP starwalt, Nga Kor Ming, who happens to be the housing minister.

CONSIDER the following, Velocity Capital it is estimated had given out a 100 per cent loan for READ : Farhash Wafa Salvador to acquire a 20 per cent stake or 462 million shares for RM184.8 million.

AS such, the entire shares were READ : register under the name of Velocity Capital, which is fair enough.

NOW consider the following, the RM184.8 million comes up to about some 35 per cent of VIEW : Velocity Capital's total assets, which stood at RM523.73 million.

HOW nice, with the KREDIT KOMUNITI  license and business which it is claimed on record  by Nga Kor Ming to help the SMALL MAN, one can just brush aside shareholders and make a man RM108.57 million .

TO each, his own perhaps but what is stinking to the heavens is this single loan translates to 78.6 per cent of the total VIEW : RM235 million credit given out by Velocity as at the end of March 31 2025.

IT gets much worst , if one adds the monies given out as credit to LEONG SENG WUI and Target One to acquire SMI Bhd. 

THIS pushes up Velocity Capital's loan exposure to the stock market, on merely two clients to 84.59 per cent of RM235 MILLION. 

Silence Is Vibrating

THIS time it is vibrating at the door steps off the Democratic Action Party (DAP) ,  the social democratic and secular political party which a chokehold on the ethnic Chinese  votes.

RIGHTFULLY  or wrongly, most Malaysians believe they know who is responsible for the death of Teoh Beng Hock.

IT vibrates loud and clear at the front door of the DAP, following the call from the READ : Teoh Beng Hock association wants DAP ministers to resign over NFA.

FROM Anthony Loke to Nga Kor Ming the silence is beyond deafening, it's vibrating much more now then before. 

2025,  is proving to be year, the unmasking  of the DAP has been taking place at a cancerous pace.

THE public knows now that the Tedy Teow Wooi Huat's MBI scheme , which cost billions of US Dollar losses, not only took place under the nose of DAP Penang, but some of its elders could well be part of the fraud scheme.

LIM Guan Eng's on going corruption case, has also kept the DAP on silent mode. There are no voices from the party to re look the death of Ewe Swee Kheng.

TO think that the DAP would have learned it's lesson well and distance itself from mob groups, have proven to be otherwise.

State of the Nation : It's the Prime Ministership that's on the line.

MALAYSIA,  open your eyes, the just concluded Parti Keadilan Rakyat contest, was a fight between two dead woods.

NURUL Izzah,  who came out tops, for all it's worth she is  a relative political neophyte, who holds little sway among the younger generation.

SOME has questioned why on the third extention of Azam Baki's  tenure as MACC head, had she voiced out her disapproval? 

FOR, the record, I believe Azam Baki deserves to have his tenure extended. No point judging the MACC boss, for what he did or did not do ten years ago. Judge him instead for what he is doing now.  He is certainly doing much more than the politicians.

AS for Rafizi Ramli, the so called super guru with the algorithm for PKR success,  the Economic Minister is one lucky son of a gun if you look at the statistics a bit deeper.

RAFIZI or no Rafizi, the party's share of the aggregate vote at general elections has been in decline since the 2013 general election.

READ : Keadilan's Aggregate vote which stood at 20.39 percent in 2012, har declined to 15.74 percent by 2022, which is even lower than UMNO's aggregate vote in 2022.

RAFIZI Ramli, who has under performed for most part of his tenure as Economic Minister, hasn't had the algorithms to reverse popular support among Malay voters.

SOME 55 per cent of Malay voters had supported Keadilan in 1999,  but nearly two and a half decades latter, the support had shrinked to around 30 per cent.

RAFIZI Ramli's biggest success has been hid ability to convince the top leadership of PKR, and a big part of Malaysia  that he has the algorithm for success.

COMING from someone who knows a thing or two about  algorithms, I can tell you off hand, at the end of the day ; it's your end product that determines success or failure. 

REMEMBER, the saying, long before we had Internet,  WhatsApp, TikTok and X, ; You can't fool all the people all the time....

WELL it holds true for 99 per cent of Malaysians, perhaps with the exception of Rafizi Ramli who has planted a time bomb inside the party.

EVEN  with  Rafizi Ramli manning the ship, PKR wouldn't have made a big leap in the coming  Sabah state elections.

BUT without Rafizi Ramli,  the people leading the front in Sabah from the party HQ in West Malaysia , hardly have the track record to deliver.

IF you are expecting the likes of Nurul Izzah, who couldn't even get her self elected in Permatang Pauh, or Amirudin Shari, the Selangor Menteri Besar,  who lost 36.84 per cent of the seats held by PKR in the 2023, Selangor state elections, you are indeed the optimistic person in the world. 

IF PKR falter in Sabah, which is not the strong hold of the party in any which way, trust me there will be a move on the hot seat in Putrajaya,  based on the wrong believe,  that Rafizi Ramli is genius at the level of Rasputin,  and not just one lucky son of a GUN.
