With Muhyiddin Yassin  booted out as Prime Minister,   some of his staunchest allies saw their opportunity to  go for the kill. The biggest name on the list was Digital Nasional Bhd. 

These were the very same forces within UMNO who had lambasted Zahid Hamidi in favour of  Muhyiddin Yassin,  now intended to use partisan politics to finish off Digital Nasional Bhd.

But the miscalculation they made was,  they  did not read enough about Ismail Sabri,  the current Prime Minister.

For decades,  Ismail Sabri's pet project had been to bring urbanisation to the rural areas, but his lack of political clout,  ment he could not really do what he wanted to actually do. READ : Ismail Sabri's 2015 Rural Urbanisation Plan

But now as Prime Minister,  he could.  Digital Nasional Bhd,  will a useful weapon for the Prime Minister to do good.
