AT this point of time there is only one way (yes I have discounted cutting jobs of civil servants), the government can achieve a sustainable budget, and that is via increasing taxes or changing the tax regime to accommodate the goods and service tax.
THIS is the wrong way to go and looks like Rafizi Ramli is going to bring Anwar Ibrahim's soaring popularity back to earth
