Muhyiddin's media tsar, Tong Kooi Ong risk losing the 5G plot

TONG Kooi Ong is absolutely correct that not all monopolies are bad, and he is not wrong either on Malaysian telcos have for decades taken users for pricing ride.

NO doubt, 11 million users cant access 5G, because Maxis was and is stuborn, hence the Government should put in place and auction for the right to build , operate and manage a second 5G grid.

THE idea should be free enterprise in intent and spirit, which probably mean we should CAN the idea of tasking Telekom Malaysia to build the second 5G grid.

FIRMS that have lobbied for the second network, should be asked to bid for the right to build, operate and manage a second 5G network via an international auction.
