Stop me if you think you've heard this one before!!!

is a track from the Smiths fourth and final studio album, Strangeways, Here We Come.   The song which was banned by the British Broadcasting Channel, goes something like this ;

Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before.

[  ] STOP ME if you heard, that when Malaysia first introduced the Movement Control Order in 2020,  PAWN SHOPS OR KEDAI PAJAK GADAI  were listed  rightfully as a non essential sector. CLICK HERE TO READ

[  ] STOP ME if you heard that Malaysia recently been referred to as the sick man of South East Asia. We have the highest  household debt in the region while in the Asia continent, only South Korea is ahead of us. CLICK TO READ

[  ] STOP ME if you  heard that in the USA,  it's President Joe Biden had canceled  more than US$2.3 billion student debt in a span of 10 days in March, and is not working on a plan to wipe out US$1 trillion in student debt. CLICK HERE TO READ

[  ] STOP ME if you heard that over here,  the Government owned Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional ( PTPTN),  which provides student loans, have merely differed  payments. How are those young people going to survive if they have been hit by COVID 19 economic misery ? Common sence will tell you, that they won't have much savings in EPF,  therefore even giving them back some of their money such as via the I Sinar won't help much.
Could this be one of the reasons the CARING people at PUTRAJAYA have allowed KEDAI PAJAK GADAI  and MONEY LENDERS who charge up to 18 per cent per annum to operate?

[  ] STOP ME if you heard that a new I Sinar plan will be out soon,  but on a reduced quantum.  What is the economic  sence in this when the situation on the ground is getting WORST.? CLICK HERE TO READ

[  ] STOP ME if you heard that Tengku Zafrul will not use a sledgehammer  to crack a nut,  but if it pleases the rakyat, the man who is in charge of our money will go along with it, instead of tendering his resignation. CLICK HERE TO READ

[  ]  STOP ME if you heard that Muhyiddin Yassin  will soon announce a new economic package.

STOP!  as in FULL STOP . One expects the new plan to have the same feel like  as the ones before. Sticking out like a sore thumb will be a lack of creativity and vision to nudge Malaysia forward.

A creative finance person will look at
forgiving some student debt, lowering age of EPF withdrawal from 55 to 50, rebates for banks in lieu of weighing a portion  of interest payments for automotive and housing loans, and direct government backed loans to SME.
