Why Anwar Ibrahim Is Under Pressure?

THE least complex answer, can be pinned on the sudden second wind gushing throught the Perikatan Nasional ranks.

A second wind bleeded with seeds of money,  rumoured to have been sourced from Daim Zainuddin and Tun Dr Mahathir,  has indeed infused a fresh believe that now all things are possible.

AT the banter level, directed to the public,  Perikatan Nasional already has126 Member of Parliament in its pocket, thus May 22, when the Parliament session kicks off, it will be a walk in the park to remove the Prime Minister.

DON'T bother placing a wager, on Perikatan Nasional being daft enough  to rock the boat, that may  trigger a  public backlash strong enough to jeapordise the coalition's chances  in the state elections in Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang and perhaps even in Trengganu.

THIS showboating by Perikatan Nasional fits well with a very confused public, that do not know what to make off,
a Prime Minister who has literally talked himself into a very tight spot.

ON the action front, Anwar Ibrahim is seen as a big NO SHOW while as Finance Minister,  perceptions are being formed that Anwar Ibrahim has chosen to ignore  the red flags all over the Securities Commission and Bursa Malaysia.

SHOCKINGLY, even despite huge public outrage and  interest on the expolits of a secretive corporate mafia targetting public listed companies, the Finance Minister hasn't uttered a word of concern nor an action plan to reign in Victor Chin Boon Long.

ANWAR Ibrahim's silence on public issues related to the financial markets are nerve wrecking to joe public that demands much more than manna for the ears.

THE eyes demand proof, the bad hats in Bursa Malaysia and the Securities Commission are being hunted down, that on law and order reforms are on song, that Malaysian wager earners will automatically be entitled to better wagers than foreign labour and that each sector in every industry will have a fixed quota to absorb Malaysians, failing which companies won't be allowed to bringn in foreign labour.
