THE posting is not to defend or attack Daim Zainuddin,  rather the MACC should anwser why investigate an 84 year old man who can barely walk now, when for donkey years Anwar Ibrahim as opposition leader had called for such an investigation? READ : Anwar: I'll give proof about Daim to MACC.

IS Anwar Ibrahim on a witch hunt against Daim Zainuddin ? I don't know, because I am unable to read the Prime Minister's mind, but what I do know is one of Anwar Ibrahim's first act as Prime Minister was to READ : Cancel the purchase of a new mercedes the government had ordered.

WHY is this Mercedes important in the scheme of things here, well because the company which was supposed to deliver the car is closely linked either directly or indirectly to Daim Zainuddin and the reclusive tycoon named Robert Tan.

SO Anwar Ibrahim's first act was to cancel a Daim Zainuddin linked contract. 

SO why is all this important now, as in today. Well because of what Muhyiddin Yassin said yesterday, which many had misinterpreted as the former PM running scared.
