SHOPEE won all the battles but : The Winner Takes It ALL

is from ABBA's 1980 Super Tropper album and it is also the last ABBA  song to  chart in the US Top Ten.

SEA Ltd, the parent of Shopee has been acting weird over the past couple of months despite seeing the stock price rise by more than 1000 per cent over a 30 month period. READ :






So why would a company which has won nearly all its battles with Lazada,  suddenly kiss up to the RULLING ELITE and show the MIDDLE FINGER to the consumers who have supported SHOPEE  during thick and thin times?

No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all

And the loser has to fall


The anwser to that question  is NO SELF CONFIDENCE and great fear that the Fat Lady will start singing.

Unlike Lazada, Shopee has failed to do one THING that serious investors  always look for BEYOND your number of users or how many billions your revenue base is.

And when serious investors do not get WHAT THEY WANT,  then you become just like READ : UBER, who had to exit from South East Asia in 2018, China in 2017 and Russia in 2016 because it FAILED to rake in a PROFIT.

The battles which Shopee has won are mere hype, while the WAR that Shopee is losing EVERYDAY since the day it started operations have been and will be its INABILITY to make a PROFIT.
